The structure can be made of steel, wood, or a combination of both, depending on its intended use.
This concept is designed in France with eco-friendly materials to preserve the mountain ecosystem, to which we are deeply committed.
ECO PROTEC® is designed to stabilize the snowpack upstream of areas to be protected (ski resorts, road structures, etc.).
A grid is laid out across the zone to reduce the risk of avalanche release.
Additionally, depending on the altitude, vegetation and trees can be planted downstream of the avalanche barriers to reforest the area, thereby increasing resistance to snow flows.
1. Composition: The structure is made of steel, wood, or a combination. The French Douglas Pine used is untreated to minimize environmental impact.
2. Dimensions: Our product range is suitable for snow heights from 2 to 4.5 meters.
